Welcome to Backyard Theatre. Please carefully read the following terms and conditions before purchasing your tickets. By purchasing tickets, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

1. Ticket Purchase

• Online Booking Only: To ensure that seats are not double-booked, all tickets must be purchased online through the links provided next to each show.
• Non-Refundable: Tickets are non-refundable. Exchanges may only be made at the discretion of the management.
• Ticket Verification: It is the purchaser’s responsibility to verify that their ticket reflects the correct date and time of admission.

2. Admission

• Late Arrivals: If you arrive late, you will only be admitted at a suitable point during the performance. This point will be agreed upon by the company prior to the start of the show. The same applies to readmission if you leave during the performance.

3. Theatre Etiquette

• Mobile Devices: All mobile phones must be switched off before the start of the performance.
• Photography and Recording: Photography and recording of performances are strictly prohibited.

4. Children and Age Restrictions

• Age Limits: Each show at Backyard Theatre may have specific age restrictions, which will be clearly indicated on the event page. Please ensure that you check the age requirements before purchasing tickets.
• Accompaniment: For shows where children under a certain age are permitted, they must be accompanied by an adult as specified in the show’s details.

5. Accessibility

• Wheelchair Access: Wheelchair access is available exclusively for patrons who are wheelchair users. Due to limited space, please contact us in advance to discuss your needs.
• Reserved Accessible Seating: Due to the limited seating in our theatre, Backyard Theatre reserves the right to release any unsold accessible seats up to two weeks before a show.

6. Licensed Bar

• Over 18s Only: The licensed bar at Backyard Theatre is restricted to patrons aged 18 and over.

7. Food and Drink

• Outside Food and Drink: Food and drink not purchased from Backyard Theatre cannot be consumed on the premises.

8. Photography and Media

• Event Photography: Please be aware that photos may be taken during performances, which may include images of the audience. By attending a show, you consent to your image being potentially used on our website or in advertising materials.

9. Smoking Policy

• Smoking and E-Cigarettes: Smoking and the use of e-cigarettes are not permitted inside the theatre or in the area outside the building up to the main thoroughfare of Anchor Street.

10. Consideration for Residents

• Noise Level: Please be mindful of the residents in the immediate vicinity of the theatre. We kindly ask that you maintain quiet consideration when exiting the area.
